Do I need to touch the store theme?

No. The widget can replace the theme’s search box or use its own trigger, and it can show your theme’s product cards so everything looks the same.

Does it work with customer-specific prices?

Yes. Live pricing mode asks the store for the price on every search and respects groups and price lists. B2B mode hides the catalogue from anyone not logged in.

What about references and measurements?

The search detects when the query is a code and ranks in tiers: exact, starts with, contains and with a typo. Measurements such as “46/210” are kept as they are.

How long until it is up and running?

One afternoon. Install the PrestaShop module or the Shopify app, paste the key, let the catalogue index and pick a relevance profile. The rest is fine-tuned with the live test. The steps for each platform are in the installation guide.

Where is the data and who can see it?

ApproSearch acts as a data processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. We provide a DPA, publish our list of sub-processors, and international transfers are covered by the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses. Hosting and encryption details are on the security page (in Spanish).
